What stands out most is how consistent the feel is, whether you’re on the fairway or around the greens. It’s a versatile ball that caters to both power and finesse, making it ideal if you want one ball to do it all.

Plus, the bright yellow makes it easy to spot in thick grass or low light, giving you that extra layer of confidence on every shot.

Compared to other yellow golf balls I’ve tried, the Callaway Warbird 2023 really stands out with its vibrant hue that’s impossible to miss on the course. As soon as I pulled it out of the box, I noticed how bright and eye-catching the yellow color is—perfect for keeping track of your shots.

The first thing I experienced was the impressive distance. The high-energy core feels highly compressible, which honestly makes it feel like you’re unleashing more power with each swing.

I could control my approach shots and get decent spin around the greens, which is often a challenge with distance balls.

The ball’s low spin off the driver meant longer, straighter drives, which is exactly what I was aiming for.

Switching to my irons, I appreciated the improved feel around the greens. The multi-component technology provided good control and stop ability, helping me hold a few tricky shots.

The durable cover held up well after several hits, showing no signs of cuts or abrasions, which is impressive for a ball at this price point.

Overall, the distance was noticeable—longer than some of my usual balls—plus the bright yellow makes it easy to spot in the rough. The fact that it’s USGA approved means I don’t have to worry about legality issues during tournaments or casual rounds.
